Ohio’s City of Museums

If there is a place in Ohio that deserves the title “Museum City”, it is Dover. The Tuscarawas County town has probably more museums per capita than any other place in the state. And they are not just run-of-the-mill collections of fossils and paintings. This town has real oddities: Like a hand-carved model of Lincoln’s Funeral Train; A place where old gas pumps go and a repository of local radio and television history. But the most fun is a collection at a local funeral home of the programs from the funerals of world-famous people. In case you missed the show on Fox 8’s New Day Cleveland here is an encore on today’s One Tank Trip.
