This week we took our book tour promoting my new book, ‘Tales From The Road” to Border’s Book Store in North Canton, Ohio.
I want to thank Fred Chenevey of WHBC Radio and Jim Albright of WHLO Radio for taking time to talk with me on their popular morning shows. It was great visiting with both of these old friends on the air and I much appreciated their help in letting folks know about the book and the fact that I was going to be in North Canton on Saturday, July 24th.
I’m not sure how to thank my old friend, Gary Brown from the Canton Repository for both his story in the paper on Monday, July 19th and for his comments in his blog this week. You can read Gary’s story on line at www.cantonrep.com as well as his blog at: http://blogs.cantonrep.com/flashbacks/neil-zurcher-reported-ohio-news-before-he-took-one-tank-trips/
On top of all this, Gary was kind enough to also attend the signing Saturday and bring me a couple of copies of his article to take home.
What a kind man.
We had a great time at the signing, meeting and talking with so many fans. We capped off a wonderful day with a drive into Canton and a stop at one of my favorite places, Kennedy’s Barbecue near the McKinley Memorial, to take home a bag of their famous smoked ham sandwiches.
