It’s Fair Time in Ohio

One of the highlights of summer each year is county fair time in Ohio. We had a chance to visit Ohio’s oldest, the Great Geauga County Fair in Burton, Ohio. But even though the Geauga Fair closed its run on Labor Day, there are still almost two-dozen county fairs around the state slated for September and October. I hope you find time to visit one.

  1. Dear Neil Zurcher,
Thank you so much for featuring the Great Geauga County Fair! Our family is very involved with 4-H; Boy Scouts; Jr. Fair Band; Sr. Fair Band; Band-O-Rama; Jr. Fair Board members in the home and even helped with the Girl Scouts at fair at one time. Sadly you missed seeing the Great Geauga County Fair Band perform. The pig races where a hoot! Who would have thought an oreo cookie was all it took? Anyways, that gives you another great reason to come back to the fair next year, listen to a concert or two and have a delicious, thick milkshake from the 4-H Milkshake booth! See you at the fair!
